Ballot Questions

Yes: Caddo Parish could borrow up to $60 million to build a sports complex and for other capital improvements, including land, equipment, and furnishings. The loan would be paid back over up to 25 years from property taxes. The ballot says the parish does not expect its tax rate for this kind of debt to go above the 1.50 mills it charges now in the first year. The ballot does not say what happens after that.

No: The parish does not borrow this money.
